School Uniform
We encourage children to dress smartly and wear their school uniform with pride in being part of the Arundel Court family.
Uniform items can be obtained from any high street store. We do have items with the school badge on which can be bought from the school office, but they are not a requirement. Second-hand uniform can be bought from the school or from the Hive at the Central Library. If you are finding it difficult to get uniform for your child, please talk to us and we will do our best to help.
Please ensure that all items are clearly labelled with your child’s name, so that we can reduce lost items.
Shoulder-length and long hair should, for safety and hygiene reasons, be tied back from the face. Hair accessories should be plain in style and in school colours.
During summer weather, please provide a sun hat with a brim or peak and apply long-lasting sun protection. Children should be encouraged to bring in sun cream on days when the weather permits it. Sun cream will not be applied by staff and pupils should have an understanding of how to do this independently.
In Year 6, our children wear a shirt, tie and blazer. We have a special assembly in September to present these to the children, and they are always delighted to wear them with pride!
